Wednesday, July 5—Fun scavenger hunt in the morning; visit ANU Museum in the afternoon

Thursday, July 6—Tour the City of David, ramparts, Hezekiah’s water tunnel, Old City and Western Wall Tunnels

Friday, July 7—Hike the Sataf or jeep ride in the Jerusalem Hills followed by a visit to the magnificent stalactite caves in the Jerusalem Hills. Welcome Shabbat at the Western Wall in the evening.

Saturday, July 8—Visit the Israel Museum to view the Second Temple period model, Shrine of the Book and Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition. Afternoon activity and relaxation. Evening on Ben Yehuda Street.

Sunday, July 9—Start the day with an interactive workshop with Stand With Us, then it’s on to the Ayalon Institute. Israeli teens join the trip today for four days! Together we will travel to a Bedouin campground in the desert where you’ll enjoy camel rides, a traditional Bedouin feast, drumming circle, campfire, and more fun!

Monday, July 10—Wake up early for an easy climb up Mt. Masada to catch the sunrise and then tour the magnificent fortress on Masada. On to the Dead Sea for floating, mud and fun! After lunch we’ll travel north to Tiberias. Evening pool party!

Tuesday, July 11—Ascend the Golan heights and Mt. Bental by bus. Visit the battlefields of 1973 War near the Syrian border. Afternoon rafting on the Jordan River. End the day with a fun dance party boat cruise on the Sea of Galilee, Kineret.

Wednesday, July 12—Visit the mystical city of Tzfat followed then on to Ossafiya for lunch in the Druze Village. Say goodbye to our Israeli friends as they head home to Petah Tikvah. We’ll go Jerusalem after dinner for the fabulous sound and light show at the Tower of David.
Overnight Jerusalem

Thursday, July 13—A moving and memorable memorial visit to Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Center then to the military cemetery on Mt. Herzl. Enjoy a farewell dinner as we prepare to leave Israel.

Friday, July 14—Return home, arriving on the North Shore early afternoon.
